View Full Version : LCX-19c enhanced screens - what's the story?

I know that there is a big difference between the screens on the LCX-16 and the LCX-19c. However, there has been talk that there is an enhanced version of the 19c that is much better. I went to Cabela's and the screens on the display model, as well as a model that was taken out of the box, were both like mirrors when the unit was off. I would think that CAbelas would be selling the "latest". Does anyone know what the story is? Is there an enhanced screen available for the LCX-19c? If so, when will it be generally available?

The story is simple. If manufacturers offer the enhanced screen as a standard in the 19…it will not happen until inventory is purged!

OK, but I guess what I am also asking is this - Is there really an enhanced screen that will be available, or is this just a rumor?

I was originally told that the new screens for the 19's were going to be available in March. However, I have just found out that they are not quite ready yet. Be patient, it shouldn't be too much longer.

As soon as my contact lets me know that they are available, I will let you know too.

Have you any knowledge whether or not they will "retrofit" the current x-19s, or will it be handled on a case by case basis???

Thanks Juls. I was about to pick one up at Cabelas last night, but I wanted to make sure I was getting the most up to date screen.

So with all this talk about enhanced screens on the 19 can you tell me if the LMS 330C's are all the enhanced screens? I've been thinking real serious about one. It appears I'm not the only one somewhat confused about this.
