View Full Version : Cowanesque, Tioga, or Hammond Lake in PA
I'm want to take a trip in May or June to one of these three lakes (Cowanesque, Tioga, or Hammond Lake)on the northern PA/NY border. Which one would be my best choice for finding walleyes?

No walleye on Cowanesque. Never heard of any on Tioga, heard rumor of an occasional one on Hammond but can't say for sure.
Pa does a real poor job of managing its fisheries, look a bit further north to NY.

About 8 years ago I found a small dead walleye floating in cowanesque.
Dont know if there are enough walleye to make it worth your while but they are there.
