Can anyone give me the name of a good book on basic planer board use......Is Precision Trolling a book that addresses this, or is there something else out there..Thanks in advance......
Yes it gives a basic understanding of the system, and does it in an easy to understand way. There is a book on boards, but I've never read it, so I can't give you any insight on it.
Good luck.

Where do you live?
DWF in Michigan meets & would be glad to help you.
If you live in Mich we run out of Lunia Pier & used boards for almost 25 years & would take you out etc.

I'd be careful asking for anything when taking someone out. There are a few guys in the 2Rivers area that have been busted for this. You need a charter license to ask for compensation. The State and the Coast Guard have been cracking down on this. The fine is up to $10,000 I believe. It sounds like horse foder but I guess it's true. You can accept payment of gas money if offered but you can't ask for it.

Interesting.......just like the FAA lines between "sharing expenses" and flying for charter/hire
