walleye spawn

I know walleyes typically spawn the same couple weeks each year and its based on water temps. With an early ice-out and water temps. rising 2 weeks earlier than normal, will walleyes spawn earlier even though daylight duration is much shorter. I know that an effect as well.

I believe it is water temperature related, first and foremost.
