I know there is always a spirited debate about these two great boats. Anyone heard what kind of shape the companies are in? I've heard some rumblings that Yarcraft might be in trouble. Hope not as I think I might want a yarcraft over a warrior, but not if they go away. Everyone who has a yarcraft loves them and goes insane if you even try and point out anything good about any other boat. I don't want to fight, but the cost of these boats is making me be very careful. Any advice is appreciated (looking for a 18plus foot boat with a yamaha)

I just sold my 1998 Yarcraft Mille Lacs w/a 75 HP Merc for a Yarcraft 1895 BT w/a 115 Yamaha tiller. I also was looking at the Warriors but decided to stick with what I know. I love the storage and the dry ride my Yarcraft gives me. Also, the 95 inch beam on the new Yarcraft Im getting is a bit more than the 90 inch beam on the Warrior I was looking to buy. Just my 2 cents worth.

I personally own a WARRIOR and absolutely love it! The new 2002 WARRIORS are beefed up even more. 25 inch transom, increased horsepowers, better storage, larger deck area for electronics and new graphics. These boats are truly "BAD TO THE BONE"!!! Good Luck.

Goose Pit,
Should be a sweet rig! You better put a 4-stroker on it to complete the sweet deal. Maybe I'll see you on Mille Lacs this summer. HEHEHEHEHE!
