Buddy of mine is looking for lodging near Upper Red Lake for mid-March Crappies. Any of you have a phone number of some places to stay up there???
Thanks.

Start by trying these two :
Hudec's Resort
(218) 647-8291
West Wind Bar and Restaurant
(218) 647-8998
www.westwindwaskish.com
There is also a place called Roger's RV Park and Campground on the southern shore of Upper Red Lake. Unfortunately I don't have their phone number handy.
If none of the local resorts have the accomodations you are looking for the Walleye Inn Motel in Baudette is only 35 - 40 miles from Red Lake. Their number is (218) 634-1550.
Good Luck.

Thanks guys. I will try those. I thought there was a new one besides Hudec's Resort. Is that West Wind Bar and Restaurant? I also read about a few on the North side that were being developed a few years ago. Anyone know if they are done? Might be an aboration.
I always drive by that lake on the way up to LOW and never really look. Always wanted to duck hunt there and get more info on the area. But typically the north bound trip is too dark at that point and the return finds me too zoned out to pay attention. Looking for that game check and all. ;-) aha!
