Was at Wally World the other day and saw a large display of "fly" rods the likes of which I had never seen. It actually had a spin-cast handle on it, was of fiberglass construction, about 18" long with a fly-swatter end on it.
I've got more flies with this! It's GREAT! The balance is perfect! And while I'm swatting those flies I'm practacing my casting technique at the same time. I was thinking of putting an old reel on it but thought better of it. It would only damage my self-confidence to be doing all of that "casting" and not getting a single back-lash.
