Anyone tried this yet? I have some 20# & 10# but haven't used it so far. Opinions?

My partner tried this stuff. He took it off very quickly. It broke several times while fighting fish and at weird places. It did not break at the knots or show any wear and tear. It just plain broke. I think he had the 10 lb. line. I have heard others make comments on this stuff too. General opinion was that not of people said it was better than Fireline or Power Pro and more of us flat out didn't like it. I wouldn't trust it for tournament fishing,,, can't take a chance on losing fish.

This is one of those new and "improved" lines that Pure Fishing changed, because they bought out Johnson. I wish they would have kept the old version. Why when a company buys another do they have to change what works? Line broke for no apparent reason first time I tried it. Have it on 3 or 4 reels. It's coming off.

Best line I've tried yet. I've only used the 30# and can tell you that it is almost impossible to break. I've held my boat, technically anchored it, on snags in the Detroit River. Holds knots great for a superline also and doesn't dig into the spool much at all if you have it properly and tightly wound.

MY BAD !!!!! I made a mistake here. My partner tried the Spiderline Fusion. The Fusion is junk. We've never tried the Stealth. (Probably out of fear that it is junk too!) Anyone that likes their Stealth, I apologize. I've just never liked the Spiderline stuff much and confused the 2 lines. Guilt by association, I guess. Sorry.

My feelings exactly. I love the stuff. Best braid on the market in my opinion. No fraying like fireline. Stronger than power pro and it actuallys holds its color. And cheaper.

Stealth, or anyhting like it, was ever made by Johnson aka. JWA. If you liked the old SpiderWire it is still made. Stealth is basically Berkley Whiplash with Teflon impragnted in it. I find it much smoother than original SpiderWire or Power Pro plus it does not hold water like the other two and it's cheaper than either one to boot!

Come to think of it sometimes I like the line to hold water. Namelly when it's 90+ degrees out. I like the little mist that I get from the line on every cast. Now November is a different story!

It's good stuff. I'd stay away from the smallest diameter stuff though. It is so limp that the wind blows it across the face of the spinning reel and you get loops when casting. It's like dental floss, it's so light.

It doesn't fray much at all and it is hard to tell from new after a year of use.
