The initial post, if there are responses, will have the "view all" link. This link will connect to all the responses.

Randy,
You should see it next to the poster's name. Do you have the message boards in the collapsed mode, or the fully threaded mode? Meaning, in the top left corner of the message board, in the maroon bar running across the top...do you have the plus or minus sign showing?
If you have the minus sign showing then you are in the fully threaded mode and you should see, next to the poster's name, "View All". When you click on "View All" all the responses will show. If you only click on the poster's topic line, it will show you that response and the people who responded, but not their responses.

I hope this is clear...if you want me to call you to help you out, just email me your phone number at juls@walleyecentral.com and I'll give you a hollar.

Juls
p.s. you will only see the "view all" in the fully threaded mode.

I have been viewing in the plus mode, when I went to neg. view i saw the veiw all. Thanks

Why when it is in plus view does the view all option appear occassionally, how does that happen??

Thanks,

Randy

Randy - I always view in the plus mode.

I think it works like this - if there are more than 20 replys then the (View All) appers --- right after the Topic. If you want to be able to "view all" responses - click on (View All), If you want to pick and choose just click the topic and then you have to click each individual response.

I always click (View All) and just look for the new responses.

Figure it out yet?

Kinda!

It looks like your theory of 20 plus gets a view all is sound, thanks

On the one hand I hate technology, to much use learning, on the other hand sure is nice for interest learning!

Thanks,
