I been looking at Manual downriggers. Everyone pretty much likes walker electric what about the manuals?
Scotty strong arm manuals look good too.
What do you guys think? I wish I could make up my mind.
One more very important question a 2ft retreve per crank or 1ft is there very much differance?

I just bought a pair of Walker Kingfisherman manual riggers. 4ft booms I will let everyone know how they work. Out of the box they look like a very well made product. I feel good about my purchase

I am not sure if you are set on manual, but I just bought a new (to me) boat with a couple of electronic downriggers. (magnum & cannon) I believe. I have no need for them and was going to sell them on ebay or something. I am located in the Twin Cities. Send me an e-mail if you are interested. Tylerkyle@hotmail.com

In my opinion they're both good products, although I've had a set of Walkers for twelve years with no problems. Mine are electrics..and I'd strongly suggest that if you plan on using them more than rarely..go with the electrics! I fished with manuals a few times and found that it's well worth the additional cost! Good Fishing, Sluggo (Chris)
