Cut Foot Sioux Opener

Any one have any input on Cut Foot Sioux for opener?? More general information. I have never fished it and wondering if I need to venture onto the big lake, or if I can just stay up north. Thanks in advance.

NORTH SIDE OF BATTLE POINT
MC CAVITY BAY
JUST OUTSIDE THE NARROWS IN FRONT OF WILLIAMS NARROWS
THE MOUTH GOING OUT TO THE BIG LAKE (THE GAP)
JUST LOOK FOR BOATS

WHERE ARE YOU STAYING?
