Michigan Fishing Resort/Cottage/Lodge

[Fish Dog]

I am looking for a decent Michigan fishing resort on a good fishing lake. Would like a covered boat slip and be pet friendly --- dog goes with us everywhere. Any suggestions? One bedroom cottage would be fine.

You might consider Hubbard Lake in the norther lower peninsula, town of Spruce, near Alpena. East Bay Outfitters (Ed) has some cabin's and good fishing advice too. Plenty of walleye to catch if you can figure them out. www.fishhubbardlake.com
