I think your reply is acceptable because Xtreme Tackle didn't put it on there as an advertisement. You put it there as an answer to a legitimate query. A sponsor of this site also has the Ripshad colors: Reelbait.com Reef Runner will pretty much put the same colors on Ripshads as they do on Reef Runners or Little Rippers.

Correct IRH, here is the link to the Reelbait color page.
You can click on the link to bring up the larger photos.

As long as we are correcting links,
http://www.xtackle.com/page0011.html is the Start of the Reef Runner
color selection. We stock over 100 colors every day. We are adding new colors for 2005 Very soon.
Thanks

Thanks for the info.Hopefully some one can answer another question.Flathead cats ruined the hooks on a couple of my Ripshads.I would think the original type hook might be necessary due the the delicate balance of this bait. What kind of hooks are they and what might be a suitable replacement? Thanks, again!

I'm pretty sure the originals are Eagle Claw wide gaps in the 4 size. Mustad wide gap work well too. I've had a few of the originals get mangled pretty badly with big fish too. Sheephead are particularly hard on them! :(

Eagle Claw Kahle Treble
L941
Sizes: 8-2
Lazer Sharp®
Bronze
Kahle® Treble
2X Strong
Wide Gap
Not sure of the size, but after the hook gets ruined, I go to the Gamakatsu EWG treble in the same size, they seem more durable.

You're a Troll - that's for sure. Are they still using VMC Barbarian reverse barb hooks? I might have some. If not, I've got some Owner hooks which are super light and super sticky. Remind me to bring 'em along next time I see you.

Schuel, what's a reversed Bavarian? Is that anything like an inside-out Aryian? Either make Svedes run for the veeds. Having you in the boat makes me look better!
