If im fishing with 12# mono, and i put a 2 oz snap weight on 20 ft from my night crawler harness. What would be the calcultion for how far down i am if trolling at about 1.2 mph

The depth abtained would be a function of the amount of line in the water after the snap wt., ie. 50' or 100' or whatever.

He gave us a speed of 1.2 mph, but said nothing of drop length.
