The NOAA map I use is #14830 but is shows no structure and there are few land marks once you get a couple of mile off shore so other than channels and shore line for Huron, Vermilion and Lorain it is of little use. I have Lake Master software which does show the sand bar and bottom structure. If you don't find something that will be of help let me know and I will see if I can help.

I think Fihsing Hot Spots has one Dean but I'm not positive. I bought a FHS CD a while back that had some features but I can't remember how detailed it was. It was really cheap and i bought it to play with at home :-)

Joe,
Are you talking about a GPS map like a pre-programmed chip or download CD?

I uploaded two maps of the sand bar area that covers from Cedar Point to a little past Lorain, east to west and from route 6 north to the Canadian border. Work the two maps together, one is the upper part of the other. They are on my web site, go to the pictures and maps index and scroll down to the bottom. Click on

This is interesting stuff, and more on your website.....cool.
With all this stuff I feel like I know what I am doing, a little bit anyway. I am going to get a map of the central basin, and with the stuff from your website, start to put some things together....thanks a bunch
