I have never been up there and would like to try it in about a month. I am looking for any advise that I can get for nite trolling, what cranks work best, area to fish and any lodging information. I really appreciate any suggestions.

I live up the road from LBDN. the fishing was one of the primary reasons my wife and I moved here when we retired. Lots of good lodging, you can check one of the sites. Last fall I did well with Bomber Long A's(prism colors), Tennessee Shad Deep Husky jerks, Deep Junior T-Sticks. I used lead core and tended to fish deeper areas, transition lines, and humps. There are a lot of people who fish the shallows and weed after dark, can get a little busy on weekends. I think that tipping front hooks on the cranks with a small piece of crawler helps at times, one stretch last fall 11 of 14 fish came on tipped lures. Going with some of the great guides in the area was a tremendous help to me, sped up my learning curve. Marty Papke, Ken Lee, and Gregg Bartel are all excellent and willing to share info. I'm sure others are good as well. I've still got a lot to learn, having fun trying. I'm registered here, send me an email. Good luck
