OK everyone, I am going to try this one more time! I would appreciate any information from anyone about these maps. Have you used them, don't like them, cost too much, anything??? I am interested in the Lake Erie, Lake Sinclair Map. It is US649T12. My Map Create 5 only gives information for US waters.
Sincerely, Paul Wright

JIM C:
Thanks for the response. At least now I know that some one else could use the info too. I plan to call Lowance and Navionics again and ask a lot more questions befoe I spring for this map. With all the X15s out there, you'd think that more would respond. All help is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

I just purchased the Navionics Map for my Global Map 3000. I have played around with the map a little and it seems to have very good detail. I am ready to get on the water and try it out in real time.
I am not sure if the x15mt takes the same map as the global 3000, I could also tell you were and how much I purchased it for if you would like to email me at rich_michele@valkyrie.net.

Talked with Lowrance Rep at Indy boat show today. All his information seemed to be positive so it looks like I'll spring for the Map, US649T12. Hope this helps some.

I just received a Navionics hot map last week for my Globalmap 3000. I purchased a regions map directly from Navionics. For $130.00 I received more maps than I needed(but that is good!). A buddy of mine ordered a map from Reeds of Lake of the Woods only and it cost him $199.99. He was not happy. The maps are very good and pretty good in detail. I don't think that quite as good as a fishing hot spots map, but very close. It is going to be great for fishing Lake of the Woods and I can't wait to get up there and try them out. For $130.00 I would get one. Well worth the money.

Have used the maps for the past year they have great detail, and I found the depth contours to be extremely close. Would highly recommend them.

Wiggle: I also use the Navionic's map for LOTW and it's great. I fish the SW area mostly out of the Rainy to the Islands and can pinpoint most of the shoels and reefs without any problems. I run direct to Archies reef from the gap and I'm on target everytime. I have the X15mt and I have had NO trouble whats so ever. Looks like we may have a early ice out even up there....Waiting FOR SPRING....Kaz

Kaz,

What is your take on your X15mt? Was it worth the cost? Would you buy it again or purchase something different? Iam considering either that or the x-91...

Thanks,
-Rod-

Marble Eyes: I would buy it again in a heart beat!! As I have said before on this site, this unit performs perfectly for me. I know some of the fellows have had problems, but that is behind us now with the 2.1 update. As for price, it's expensive, but with the build in GPS a little over a grand is not that bad. I saw some posts here that a couple of guys were buying two units, they liked them so much. I'm not sure about the X-91. I also have the duel transducer, some don't like them, but mine works great on LOTW for shallow and Superior or Lk Mich for the deep water.I don't think you will be disappointed. Can't WAIT FOR SPRING.....Kaz
