That is a pretty broad area. I have heard of a lot of fish being caught below Pettenwell dam but most are small. Orange jigs. Last year they were catching a lot of nice fish below Nekoosa. I have not heard much so far this year.
The only place I have heard of bigger fish being caught is the Dells. The middle of the week is the best time to fish that because there is only one launch. Very long wait on the weekend.
My last years partner fished Lake WI. last weekend and caught over 40 fish. He did end up with 5 keeper saugers but no legal walleye. Green jigs.
