How do I check output of onboard charger.It's a20-10-10.
Hook it up to a battery. With it shut off check the voltage of the battery with a voltmeter. It should read somewhere around 12.X volts depending on the state of charge. Plug in the charger and wait a few minutes (10-20) and then check the voltage with the thing turned on. It should read greater than 13.6 volts, and in fact may read as high as 14.2 or so. Of course if it still reads 12.X you know the charger isn't working.

That will tell me if it works or not but not how much it is putting out.The reson I'm wondering is I have one battery That charges a lot faster than the other. I have taken out batterys and charged out of boat and they charge up fine.
