I'm cranky, irritable, and sometimes just plain ole mean. Give me some warmer weather and a few hungry 'eyes. I can't arrange my tackle or clean my boat anymore, there is nothing left to do, and going to tackle shops to entertain myself is getting expensive. We went out to Erie Jan 27, and that helped for a while, but the fever is kicking in again, C"MON SPRING!!

Couldn't agree more! I'm going nuts waiting this out!! Patience...patience...we're supposed to be good at this.

I hear ya guys.

Luckily, I put off a few boat projects for occasions like this when I get a little antsy.

But then, I just got my Cabela's Tackle Craft catalog.

Sure would be fun to get one of those rod building kits...:)

PJ,

Those rod kits work really great to take up for some idle time, and you end up with something in the end. I have made several rods this winter, the more bored I get, the more rods I make. Give it a try, you'll enjoy it.

I hear that.............I have tied about two hundred spinners and replaced all the hooks on my cranks. This gorgeous winter we are having with no snow is making it even worse. Fortunately I will be fishing out of a boat in mid to late march on the Rainy River in Northern Minnesota...... if the weather holds like it is .....maybe sooner. I can't wait............here fishy fishy........

Sounds like you need to catch some eyes. Go ice fishing!! Feb. is one of the best times to catch a monster! I'll be pulling pigs the next two weekends. Come join in on the fun!

I was feeling pretty cooped up today too. But I'm all better now for a day or two. Just got the Cabela's Master Catalog in the mail today. Life just seems a little bit better now!
