I have a Zercom LPG 2000 Graph that I want to get rid of but I'm unsure if it's worth anything. Is it? What would be a reasonable price to sell it for. It is about 4 years old.

Once a piece of fishing electronics get more than about 2 years old, the value quickly falls toward 0.

Depending on the person you should be able to get somewhere between $5 and $75 for the unit.

I may have underestimated the value of your unit.
I see that e-bay has two new units on the boards - with NO bids at $199 and a buy it now price of $350.
They indicate that the retail on these units were $500.

Part of the problem, however, is that new better units are selling at a lower price.

For example you can get a nice Eagle unit - with a 480X480 pixel display and overall excellent unit - new - for $200.

The unit that is similar to your unit is now selling new - in the eagle line for $125-$150.

Therefore, I have to say that a 4 year old unit would certainly sell for no more than $75 and probably less.

p.s.
Fast changing technology is part of today's society. Also, the selling of more units and cheaper technology allows manufacturers to put out similar products at a much cheaper price.

I would say try to find a young guy or gal just getting into fishing and give it to them. Might jump start something in thier system and get them hooked for life!

Mille Lacs Guy,

You could also trade the LPG 2000 in on a new Matrix unit. We offer this to those customers who have older model Humminbirds but I’m sure it applies towards the LPG units as well. Send me an e-mail if you are interested and I’ll send you back a message that will have the trade in letter attached or you could call our Customer Resource folks at 1-800-633-1468 and speak with them about a trade.

Gee what don't you like about the LPG 2000? I have one, and a new Matrix which I also like plus a Bottom Line and a Pinpoint,..all are good but I really Like The LPG as far as detail and ease of use,..look at the specs,..its pretty good even by the new standards,...GREAT ice fishing unit as you can use it down to -20 and you get real time action. I don't use my Vexilar much anymore because of it.

I like the unit when I am drifting or trolling, or going slow in general but it loses bottom contact when I am getting on plane and then once the boat is on plane it sometime works and sometimes doesn't. I have tried adjusting the angle of the transducer etc and it is still acting up. At this point I will probably try to move the transducer to another spot on the boat and see if that works. I like the unit as well for the most part but I need it to work. If it is worth only 75 dollars or less I will just keep it rather than trying to sell it.
