The following is a reply I received from Lowrance regarding a question as to when WAAS would be available for the X-16ci

Thank you for your inquiry. The WAAS enabled units should be released
sometime in April. Mapcreate 6 is the compatible software available for that product. Other mapping softwares, other than Navionics marine charts, are not compatible.
