When you open it 1/4 to full throttle it wants to turn to the right,so bad you can not hold on to it. I have a 75 hp mercury on it is this normal.

Do you have the tab adjusted properly on the motor. This is the small tab just behing the prop and what you will need to do is adust it about half way opposite of the way the motor is pulling. This should fix your problem.
