are there ads go one piece rods such as increased sensitivity etc when storage, transportation of rods isnt an issue. i find one piece rods handier but a lot of the rods i'm looking at only come in 2 piece in the length etc i want. i will be getting jigging, jig/rig, and trolling rods for bouncers etc. thanks.
For the jigging, get the ones that you have the best feel with, some of the newer rods still have a lot of sensitivity even though they are 2 piece. as far as the trolling rods it doesnt make a lot of difference, just get them all the same(trolling rods that is). i hope this helps a little. good luck and good fishin.

The older 2-piece rods with metal ferrules were terrible for maintaining sensitivity. Today's grpahite and ferrule technology is light years ahead and I doubt very much that you could notice a difference between 1 and 2-piece versions of the same rod blank.
I always buy a 1-piece whenever available. But if the rod blank I need is only available in a 2-piece, I won't hesitate to get it.

With the technology we have today - I can't tell the difference between two piece and one. I have two piece rods and I have NO complaints - at all!!! A whole lot less concerns with storage.
i wouldn't buy any one piece rod. too much trouble, especially if you ever plan to travel. just not worth it.
