Has anyone had any experience with power pro lines I need to respool my trolling rods and am currently using fireline for pulling inline boards and was thinking about trying power pro?

Great stuff, I prefer the moss green color over the yellow. I just feel I can see it better especially on a sunny day. You can tie about any kind of knot with it, unlike spiderwire. E-BAY has some good deals on it at time's. I'm hoping to get a good deal on it myself, as I have 14 reels to respool.

Tried it last year for trolling on Erie and the line is great. Try it on a few reels and see for yourself. You can really read your rods.
Also not supposed to damage rod guides.
Good luck, Gill

It doesn't fray as quick, especially when fishing rocky areas, it's priced OK and you can also get about 3 good years of use, maybe 4...I second the moss green...Great for bottom bouncing also.. After using the fireline you know there isn't any give so I use medium action rods. Something with not as much backbone... I also use the snapper releases on my offshore boards it holds the line better...

Has anyone experience with WHITE Power Pro? I am told it is HI--VIS, I wonder if white is a color that fish would see.

Love the PowerPro. In the long run I figure that it is cheaper to use because of the extra years I get out of it by rewinding front to back.

I like the feel of it better than Fireline and it DOES fray less.

Thanks for the info I like the fireline w/ med action rods and off shore boards w/ church tackle clips but the fraying can be a problem at times. Looks like I'll give power pro a try this spring as we are always looking for something a little better thanks again.

Does Power pro "act" like fireline? Does the moss green blend in with the water? Thanks

I almost use Power Pro exclusively now for walleye, and most other species as well. I feel it is more manageable and holds up better then other braids I have used. Bite detection is almost instantaneous so I feel it ups your catch in the end. Castability is super and it cuts water well when used for vertical jigging and trolling. I use it from the 8/1 all the way up to the 80/18 for big cats and muskie.

The Power Pro line knots well. What I have found is as long as you use 2 loops through the eye of the tie-off point you can use most any knot you already use for mono on Power Pro.

Good stuff, it pays for itself quickly in performance and longevity.
