I recently have purchased the Global Map 3000. I am having trouble downloading the map detail to the MMC card. The unit comes with an 8MB card and the area of detail that I have chosen to save is just about 6MB. I can tell that my PC does recognize that the card is there
because it shows up in the window that shows the card information. When I go to download to the MMC card it does not seem to transfer.
Does anybody have any experience with this? The 8MB MMC card that comes with the unit seems a little small. Should I purchase an additional 16 or 32MB so there will be plently of room to transfer my coordinates back to my PC as a back-up? This really does seem like a great unit. Thanks, Dean
