On my way through Sioux Falls this weekend I finally saw that new PETA sign. It sure did have Jesus as a Veger. With something like Jesus was a Vegiterian... Some clever youth did add NOT in to the sentance. I just thought that was kinda silly.... Markum

Signs like that not only crack me up, but it shows the ignorance and overt stupidity of Peta people. Did any of these jackasses ever actually read the Bible?
Even if you haven't, we have all heard of the Loaves and Fishes miracle wherin Jesus created enough food for the growin masses. It did not say, "Then Jesus sat amoung the people and ate a Tofu Burger!"
Get real you tree hugging wacko's! P.S., when you do die, your B.S. wont fly with the Lord. Think of that!

What do you expect? Think they're really going to brag about the most recognizable vegetarian of the 20th Century? Even PETA isn't stupid enough to put up billboards that read, "Be a vegatarian--just like Hitler!"

When Jesus needed help spreading the good word, who did he recurit? Fisherman. In the bible in the book of Luke he says "Go and drought thou nets" In other words, "Go fishing". When I need time off from work to go fishing, I remind the boss that I'm just doing what Jesus wants me to do.

Was Jesus a Vegan? Maybe. But' he sure liked people who fish. TGG

As a former "Religion Major" in college, I just couldn't let this one go without a comment. Sorry to those who think this is silly but it does show just how stupid the PETA (People Eating Tastey Animals) folks are as well as uninformed about Biblical truths.

First off, Jesus was a Jew and practiced as any Jew of that day. This included eating the Passover Sader which included Lamb.

As stated before, there were the bread and fishes stories, two of them. He ate with families in towns wehre he traveled. This meant tha the ate what they ate. They did not make a special manue for his likes or dislikes.

Peta has shown their smarts in a most revealing way with this billboard. They'll do it again, I'm sure......
