Is anyone running the x15 OR x16ci AND a LMS 350 together?
I get mixed signals form Lowrance as to whether they will run together or not. The X-16ci is 200 kHz while the LMS 350 in 192 kHz. I have been told this is enough difference that they should both run sonar without interfering with each other, another tech said they would not run together, SO I am looking for someone who has tried them both and can give me a stright answer.
I do know that on the 50 kHz setting they should not work together.

I have never seen a 200khz unit that did not interfere with a Lowrance 192khz unit. This includes Zercom, Vexilar and Garmin. I would venture to guess that you will have problems.

Dean,

I'm running them together but there's some interference between them. Both units work OK in tandem but I turn off the 350A sonar for the best results. I use the 350A for plotting and speed and the x15 for sonar, both on full screen.

I can run my X15 and my 350 (and also an X85) at the same time without interference - lines across the screen, etc. However the detail on the screens is diminished. The noise filters will filter out the interference but they also cut down on the fish, bait and other details on all of the units. Turn one unit off and fish will appear again. I run them simultaneously for depth reference only, if I need to find fish I run only one at a time.

Dean, have you considered putting a dual-freq transducer on one of them? You might be able to find one for the 350A for cheap (I bought a new one off ebay 2-3 years ago for $35).

you need at least 50 points difference for them to not cause probs
