Anyone care to offer where would be the closest ramp from the Reef area/Camp Perry Fire ramp to launch from. I have a 19 foot boat.

I'd be coming down 75 into Toledo.

ME,

Take Rt 2 east to either Turtle Creek or Fenwicks Marina. Both are private (as opposed to State) launches. Not sure how far it is from Toledo.

Those launch sites are about 22 miles East on State Route 2 from St. Charles Hospital.

You do not have to go that distance. Stop in Toledo and launch your boat at Cullen Park in Point Place and just go out the river to the Green & White Radar bouy you can not miss it. Otter Light is just pass the radar bouy. A friend who is a charter boat capt. yesterday started fishing at 7:00 am and had his limit by 8:00 am. (21 fish) If you want to stay over the week end Exit 210 & 75 there is a motel. That is about 2mi. from Cullen Park ramp. Any other imformation you can call me at 419-726-4502 or E-Mail me at RHLSnoopy@aol.com I will be glad to help you. Look at you Lake Eire Chart.

If you want to fish the reef area you can also launch at Wild Wings, about a mile east of Turtle Creek. The fish have been hitting in the reef area and also in Maumee Bay area. There are places to stay at Turtle Creek marina and wild wings condos.
