Theres an old tip up called the "pop-up" that was an excellant pike bass, and perch tip up but really stunk as a walleye tip up the magnetic resistence or something? Any how they stand up in the hole center straight up, after a few years of using these we noticed that dogs walking on ice usaully went straight to those rigs over the others tripping flags and stepping into the holes, and worst yet ##### a stream of steam on them!! Well once they have done this it becomes a chain of events. ;( The secret was to wash the tip up with soap and water. Now as for that drop of fox urine I put on the other guy's tip up it's been years now.
And should I fess up or get a dog? Tears in my eye's every time we saw a dog coming at us, maybe a dog whistle any other suggestions?
