I used them last summer on our vacation in the U.P. (MI). Used shad, perch,& bluegill? colors in 1/8 & 1/16 sizes w/leaches. They worked quite well on walleye & pike. We were casting them along a break in 11 to 14 feet of water in the weeds. I think you will be pleased with the results. Good luck! Fish Whip Guy

I use the 3/8 and 1/4 which have the larger body to pitch in the shallows. I use a steady retrieve and I do not tip these as it would interfere with the action of the tail. The walleyes just inhale these.

I have used the small ones (not sure of size) alot on smallies. Work great. I now have a new addiction and that's rubber minnow. I have already used other brands and bascially like them all.

Used the 3/8 verticle jigging the Saginaw River last season. They work very well. I second the thought of not tipping - it will ruin the action. Bob WC#253.

I use a jig head tipped with Gulp 3" minnow. They seemed to work better than the mimick. Works great when pitching in the shallows. You have more color combinations and i think the gulp has better scent attraction.

The mimic does not have much scent. It is the vibration which drives the fish crazy.
