Pretty much any charter boat out of Kona should give you a good day on the water. The marlin bite will depend more on the time of year than on the boat you choose.
When I was there in December (low season), I booked a 3/4 day charter with Capt. Dee Bradford on the High Noon. http://fishingcharterskona.com/
Nice boat (moored right next to the Sundowner), great tackle, good guy. I'll definitely book with him again.
If you go in the summer months, you're pretty much guaranteed to raise a few marlin each day.
Good luck.

My nephew just came back last two days from Marlin fishing in Hawaii. We watch the video last night of him catching his first Marlin. He land a 77lb "stripped Marlin". The captain of the boat said it was the biggest one of this particulat kind of Marlin he has ever seen in those waters. Wow what a fight he had because the hook came out of it's mouth and then hooked in the dorsal fin. A 40 minute fight to the end. I can't wait to go with them next year.
I'll ask him the name of the guides he used and send you a PM. From the video these guides looked only 22-25 years old, but they sure knew how to work the boat to the fish!
