I was wondering what everyone uses to wrap their lures when not fishing. I have a side rod locker and want to keep my lures from hooking each other or my 2 year old. I have tried the beckman wraps that have two velcro straps, unfortunately they slide around on the rod. I have seen the plastic cases that enclose the lure at Bass Pro shops, does anyone have experience with these? Or any other suggestions.
Thanks.

I had Amish Outfitters custom make some rod bags for me as I wasn't satisfied with what I saw as available choices. They are made of the heavy duty tarp material used to make the "Buggy Bag" Trolling Bags. The end has a long strap with velcro. Website is www.amishoutfitters.com They are not pictured on the website. You'll need to call. Tell Capt Frank you want the rod bags like he had made for FreeByrd.

For my kids' stuff I just buy the plastic hook protectors that slide over the treble hooks from Cabelas (I'm sure others carry them as well). I'd do it across the board, but I've have to get a mortgage loan to buy enough to cover the hooks on all my crankbaits!! :)

I take all lures off when not using. Prevent them from getting banged around and out of tune.As far as single hook i dont have any problem with my berkly wraps.
