Camp owner says we will be fishing in late June with mostly "Lindy Little Joes". O.K. - I know what those are!!

Is this the same as bottom bouncing? And if so, will we be using bottom bouncing sinkers?

I think the set up will be main line to swivel and then the Little Joe to the swivel correct?

Are their other options for the weight?

Thanks from a beginner.

Bottom bouncers are one weighting system for spinner rigs like a Little Joe. I've used them before with in-line keel sinkers, and I've heard of people using them with dropper sinkers off a three-way to. Besides keel sinkers there are several other in-line sinker options. This year I'm going to try snap weights.

The connection depends a little on the weight. With snap weights I'll be doing line-to-swivel-to-rig. Bouncers and in-line weights often have swivel attachments that you could either snap to or tie to. Some bouncers only have an R-bend or ring to attach the main line to. I'd probably use a snap there, or tie direct. Others could probably advise better, I've not used bouncers very much.

Bottom Bouncers

Ihave used bottom bouncers by themselves andwith planner board.
I would put a good swivel on where the line ties on for your bait preference. A good ballbearing swivel will alway you to do away with alot of line twist. Leader of 12 to 36 inches a goodchoice depending on speices, walleye go atleast 18 or more
also if useing worm harness, trolling about 1.5 isa good speed
