115 yamaha, MK uni sonar answers

There was a post the other day concerning the availabity of the yamaha 115 4-stroke. My dealer tells me that if he orders 1 motor it will be 90-120 days. If he orders thru Crestliner it will be 30 days-same as boat availablily-so they should arrive at the same time. Also called called Minnkota and talked to a nice lady-she tells me the uni sonar is a 14 degree transducer-and that there is no sensitivity loss. I think someone posted that there would be a 10-15 percent sensitivity loss with this universal transducer. Anybody know for sure? I guess a 14 degree transducer would be okay. ANY thoughts on that?

I just went with a Merc, same Motor with a Merc Lower Unit. Yamaha is NOT offering an 5 Year Included Warranty on the 115, They are on 100hp and lower.. Merc on the Other Hand is on the 115. I just got 5 years included. You may want to check its availibility as it as almost identical.
