I would like to know what additives you use,or don't recommend using.
I'm pretty religious about carbon guard type stuff but not sure about others.
When I go to a boat/marina store there must be 10 different things to use.
Besides anti carbon, there are all kinds of fuel stabilzers,carburator/fuel injector cleaners, gas additive-make your engine run twice as good type stuff!!
I would like to know your opinions.
I use a gas/oil mix,but would like to hear about straight gas with oil injection and four stroke too.
Thanks you.

Sea Foam is the only additive I use for normal use. I use a stabilizer in the fall.

Sea Foam seems to be the after market choice. Most outboard mechanics use it regularly when the OEM aditives aren't available for what ever reason. Other wise the recommended product from the outboard manufacture is the best to use. I'm familiar with both OMCs and Yamahas. They both work.

OMC Motor Tuner should be part of the spring tune up on any 2 stroke motor.

I'll second Terry's suggestion. Engine tuner from Merc and OMC is a great product. It will get the carbon build up out of the rings and cylinders. You'll be shocked at how much snap comes back to your motor on low end torque. It really cleans things up. You should see the residue it leaves on exhaust ports, like my white OMC engine. It really shows how it gets the junk out.

SeaFoam in everything I own. Just got a bunch at Fleet Farm for $3.59. That is about 2 bucks a bottle off what I can usually get it for.
