I am thinking of getting the Lowrance X-51 next month, or possibly Eagle Tri-finder 2. Anyone have either? What are your opinions of them? I would appreciate your responses, regardless of if you own one of these as well.:)

I have not used either, but I did think it was interesting that the X-51 is listed on www.lowrance.com as having 240 vertical pixels and costs less than $200.00. Vertical pixels are what gives you definition. The unit also has 1200 Watts of power which is great for that price.

I think that the reason that it doesn't cost over 200 is that it is 240x100 pixels. I looked at it at the Chicagoland show, and the detail was great, better than the 240X240's I was looking at in the 250 range. This will be my first fishfinder, so I just wanted to ask around about it before I throw the money out. Thanks
