Turkey Island near Fighting Island

Anyone fish near Turkey Island in Canadian waters? Looks to be some shallow areas there that might be good panfish waters. Also anyone trying across Ballards Reef across from Grosse Ile on the canadian side?

Haven't tried the areas you asked about. Best panfish spot in the area is supposedly the horseshoe by Boblo Island.

I know the horseshoe for perch but are there gills there as well? Terror, have you tried Crystal Bay when the party crowd is not there?

Couldn't tell you for sure. Never fished Crystal Bay. Too much of a hassle with the customs stuff just to drop anchor and fish there.

I do pretty well with gills around the Powderhouse Island area.
