Fish Seekers

I have just purchased some Fish Seekers and noticed that they say not to use them with deep diving lures. Does anyone have a definitions as what is a deep diving lure? I intended to use them with Rapalas such as the Shad Raps, tail dancers and deep diving huskie jerks. Is this not recommended?

The deep diving lures, (ie. those with big bills) pull down on the back side of the planning device and deminish it's diving ability. In some cases it will even cause them to roll over and come to the surface. The same is true of Dipsies and Jets. Spoons, harnesses and stickbaits will work best. good luck.
