Hey guys, I will be heading up to Woman Lake, MN on June 10 thru the 18, I have never fished this lake for walleyes. I am staying in a family friends summer cabin around Bungey Bay in the SW part of the lake. I was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on fishing walleyes in this lake at this time and some areas or spots and any techniques or bait or any other advice that could help me with the eyes' . I do have a hotspots map for this lake but it is out dated (1990) and I need some up to date info. So any advice that you can give will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
Jacks3,
I will be there the 10th-13th. Shoot me an email.

Hey EJ, thanks for the response. This site won't let me register with my e-mail provider so I am not able to get your e-mail address to write you an e-mail but if you want to write me here is my e-mail address: mattjackson34@hotmail.com just put "Woman Lake" into the subject box so I recognize it. Thanks again for the response and hopefully we have some great fishing up there.

Greetings! I have vacationed at Woman Lake a few times, really enjoyed it and have one bit of counsel: fish walleyes at Leech!
Just kidding, sort of! You may want to hit Leech for a day trip as it is an easy commute to the southeast portion of the lake. You are also close to Little Boy and Wabedo for great muskie and mixed bag fishing.
For Woman Lake we have had good success around the primary main lake island; shallow when it is windy and as deep as you can get when it is more calm. There is a nice rock bar off the south side of the island plus other bars and shelves jutting out from the north and northeast, if memory serves. Fish seem to move up and down the breaks quite a bit. Last note: don't overlook weed edges especially in the morning and evening hours. Not too many folks fish these areas for 'eyes at Woman but they are there.
Good Luck!
