Are any of you guys using this red line? I am always a sucker for a new item so I got some this year. We have our first tourney this weekend so I will give it a try. It sure looks pretty on the reel!

Stuff is invisible in the water and very strong...

I love it. I have more confidence in this line than anything I have ever used.

The original Cajun line was just a bit to stiff for spinning reels. They came out with a softer limp version this year and I expect that it will work perfectly fine.
I have used the original version and I love it.
Very easy to see with polarized lenses.

This is the first year I have used the stuff and it has been awesome for freshwater drum and catfish/bullhead. I used to have issues with fraying due to the freshwater drum's infamous headshake, now, not even an issue. I even went through a re-spooled all of my zebco 202's, 404's and even my 808's.

On a more serious note, a guy that we fish with uses the stuff for perch and it seems to work. I still prefer fireline or flouro however.

Highly recommended.

I love the red cajun line. I use mainly shakespeare products and have no issues with any of it. I like how well the red line dissapears in the water so the catfish have no idea that there is a hook on the other side of that little bluegill! It is nice and limp and casts with no issues on my spincast rod.

Keep us updated as to if you like it or not?

I was thinking about buying some 20lb cajun line and using it for leaders on our trolling rigs? Any thoughts?

Am trying it on my trolling setups this season. Used it once so far this season and for what it's worth we won the tournament on Erie during a tough bite weekend. May have been the line, may have been the presentation but the line worked well and we seemed to get a bunch more bites than most of the other boats.
