Can I please suggest that you search the archives because this was just done as a poll in the last 2- 3 weeks? The bottom-line answer was open water trolling was #1 and jigging was #2. But, the former poll did not separate bottom bouncing live bait from Lindy rigging live bait. Please do a search on the archives.

Sorry to have inconvenienced you atomic eye. You must be a busy man.
Unlike a lot of folks here I don't get to this board every day, especially during the week. I normally do use the search function before posting but in this case searching by such key words as "jigging", "rigging", "trolling" or "favorite" seemed like it would be pretty unproductive and likely yield 100+ hits. I did try searching by "favorite presentation" and only got 4 hits, the post you mentioned did not come up. With the traffic this board is seeing these days a post is only up for a couple of days.
I also figured doing a poll, which only takes 10-15 seconds to complete, would not be large inconvience to people. Apparently I was wrong.

the beauty of this forum is that one never stops learning...or shouldn't. although this subject has come up before, many like yourself might have missed it. and more thinking will be done because of your new poll. one never analyzes TOO much when discussing walleye hunting. even in new mexico lol lol

Hey Atomic,

I posted that survey a few weeks ago, and spinners, is what I meant for bottom bouncing. I forget termanology is diferent for each region. Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks for the post Jim. I did miss the other one, would have voted twice anyway. The thing one notices about this board is a lot of things get repeated, on all these posts you'll learn something new, or read something you haven't seen before. Keep the repeats coming, if I can't be bothered I won't click.

Rapaleye,

I didn't mean to belittle you. I didn't know if you were aware of the search feature? 20 lashes with a Power Bait crawler for me if you felt denigraded. I apologize if my words caused you to feel that way?
