PowerPro line colors...

Since nothing was overwhelmingly recommended over PowerPro when I asked previously, I'm going to stick with that since I have already used it and do like it. I've used the green shade - has anyone tried the yellow or the white?

I have tried the yellow. I like to keep different colors on so that id I get a tangle I can untangle easier.

I use PP extensively. I do NOT recommend white. I love the Hi Vis and Green. In my side by side comparisons on various rivers, I cannot get a bite on white, but either green or Hi Vis, works great. Same rods, same baits, switching hands, no bites on white. Hope this helps.

Thanks Mike, I was wary on the white because I've noticed a decline in bites when the color fades on my green PowerPro. Regarding the same number of of hits on the yellow, was this for jigging or another application, and was the water you were fishing in clear or discolored?

I am using PP Hi Vis for both jigging as well as pulling 3 ways. The water is murky - perhaps 2"-6" visibility down to a clear 2 feet. At about 1 foot visibility, I start to use green. But the value of hi-vis remains number 1 for me, particularly for jigging applications. good luck mike

I USE THE YELLOW AND THE WHITE TROLLING.GREAT LINES. HELPS IF A FISH TANGLES YOU OR A CRANK GOES A STRAY.
I HAVE GREEN AND YELLOW ON SOME OF MY JIGGING AND DRIFFIN RODS. I LIKE THE YELLOW A LITTLE BETTER BECOUSE YOU CAN SEE I SHY BITE BETTER. IF YOU THINK THE FISH ARE SPOOKED WITH THE BRITE COLLORS TIE A 5 OR 6 FOOT LEDDER OF YOUR FAVORITRE LINE ON.. DO NOT FORGET TO USE A SWIVEL. IF YOU TIE DIRECT THE POWER PRO WILL CUT RIGHT THRU YOUR MONO.
