In certain situations I would like to use light wire hooks on crankbaits so I can pull them out of snags. Examples are trolling into submerged brush piles or casting into deep submerged timber. On some lakes that have a lot of such cover the chances of getting a really big fish are remote. Thus, I am willing to trade the possibility of pulling the hooks straight in the mouth of a big fish for losing fewer lures.
Who makes good light wire treble hooks for cranks? Including large sizes, like you would use for #9 Shad Raps. Once the hook has been pulled straight, can it be bent back and used again reliably?
