Just picked up a bunch of these in a variety of colors and wonder how people are doing with them. They seem to be the larger size, not the small ones, says on the package trolled they will run 12-13 feet. I'm assuming the same as a CD5 Wally Diver.
They don't look that good to me in the package, but I couldn't resist the price or the fact that I have not tried them.
I'm a big Reef Runner fan and have a hard time trying new stuff...but then I would have never tried a Reef Runner with that attitude. ;)
Anyone know if someone has a dive curve on these yet other than the package one?

Used several of them the last couple years in Canada trolling.I love them. I trolled them using fireline.all the people that went on the trip had them this year.wouldn't you agree they thought they caught fish? I dont know the dive curve on them but can tell you they hit that 12 ft easily with the 20# fireline with roughly 40 yds of line.

I HAVE USED THE JOINTED AND THE LARGEER GRAPPLER. NOT DONE TO WELL WITH THE LARGE GRAPPLER. BUT HAVE GOT SOME NICE FISH WITH THE JOINTED GRAPPLER. THEY DIVE AND RUN GREAT.

I have heard from several people that they are good casting cranks, especially for bass? Have never used them myself though.

Where did you find the jointed grapplers? They are not listed on the Lurenet website?

Jointed? There is no such variation according to the Pradco site. You sure you are talking about the same lure?

The jointed Grappler Shad is, I believe, a Gander Mt exclusive. I have seen them at my local Gander Mt.

I FIRST GOT AND SAW THEM AT GANDER MOUTIAN IN CEDAR RAPIDS IOWA. THEN TRIED THEM PREFISHING A TOURNEY AT HARLAN LAKE IN NE. DID VERY WELL WITH HEM THERE. INEXT SAW THEM AT SCHEELS IN SIOUX FALL,S.D. after reading this thread I went to Gander Mountain in Tonawanda NY and bought a half dozen of the jointed grappler shad in different colors
They had them for 3.99 and when I got to the register they rang up at 2.99 each. I am going to try them on Oneida Lake next week on vacation

I HAD TO GIVE$4.69 FOR THE ONES I HAVE.IF I COULD GET THEM FOR YOUR PRICE I WOULD OF BOUGHT THEM ALL.
I DO A LOT OF TROLLING .WHEN I FIND A GOOD TRUE RUNNING LURE THAT CATCHES WALLEYE AND SAUGER. I WILL STOCK UP ON THEM.
I QUICKY FIGGERED OUT THAT THE JOINTED SHAD RAP IN ALL THRE SIZES IS VERY GOOD AND TRUE RUNNING LURE. MY FAVORATE IS THE PEARL WHITE #5JOINTED SHAD RAP .
NOW THESE JOINTED GRAPPLERS ARE JUST AS TRUE AND GOOD RUNNING.ONLY ONE SIZE .CHROME WITH BLACK OR CHART. BACK WORK GREAT.
NOW NOT TO HURT ANY ONES FELLING ,BUT THOSE LITTLE JOINTED RAD SHAD THAT THE BIG C. PUTS OUT.. I STILL HAVE TO FIND ONE THAT RUNS TRUE OUT OF THE BOX. D!@# it! I guess these are for real. All you people are going to make me go broke. I have been buying way to much lately. I need to go the the GM in Geneva IL and see if they have these things now. I also need to buy a few tackle trays to start carrying all this stuff around.
