Greetings to all..
Me and my son are finally gonna make our first trip to LOTW this fall. Probly around the first wk in Oct. Never being there before we were dabating on which area to go to. I have a smaller boat 16.5 W/ 60hp. We mostly Walley and pike fisherman but would like to try some Muskey fishin and am thinking of a guide for the first day. Although we would be happy for good fishing no mater what species.

My question...Noing there are alot of anglers familiar with LOTW on this forum, I was hoping to get feedback on wether to go to NW Angle or Sabaskong bay? We are fron Southern Mn. The Angle will be a longer drive but have been told the fishing is good. Sab. bay will probly be more protected form wind....Any thoughts?

Thanks guys....Kevin

There are no shortage of places to get out of the wind at the
NW Angle. Fall is a pretty time of the year to be up there. If you need a guide reference at the Angle, I can give you one.
