How is the Walleye fishing on the eastern half of ERIE in the Fall?
What are your favorite areas and way's to fish? Should you use planer boards?

Thanks

Generally, the eastern basin is good into late September.
Right now, off Dunkirk, the walleye fishing is very good...we
did a 3 man limit by 11 on Monday. Fish are running smaller the
last week or so than they were earlier in August.

If the water temp stays up, should continue to be good.

We also get a pretty good offshore september fishery for steelhead.
Those are starting to show more, and I know of a report of a 17lb
steelie last week.
