I know they're labeled "bass rods" but has anyone tried the new Loomis GLX spinning rods? I'm talking about their Jig and Worm series with the Recoil guides. I'm thinking that the BSR802 would be a great jigworm rod using 8 lb. test for walleyes in the weeds, as well as jigging in general. Does anyone have any experience with these rods and if they are more effective jig rods than the SJR series? Thanks,

I sprang for IMX and GLX in my quest for the ultimate jig & rig sticks. Recently sold the GLX on E-bay and will put the IMX-781 on soon.
Haven't picked up the rods you're describing, but I suspect there is something from Rogue, St Croix, or others that would rival it for much less money.
If you do spring for the GLX - it's nice to know you can sell it on E-bay later for at least a pretty good portion of what you paid for it.
