Is there anywhere in eastern South Dakota where I can get 8 & 10 oz. weights for pole lining. Can I buy them online without paying to much in shipping.
Thanks,DK

I have a friend who is making his own out of brazing rod and copper pipe of different diameters. just pinches the bottom of the pipe closed with the rod out both ends and fills with lead from the top. He said that putting an "s" bend in the wire before filling the pipe kept it from pulling out of the lead after setting up. You'll need to experiment with the diameter and length of pipe a bit to bet a feel for weight but won't be long and you'll be custom making weights to suit your needs. Just a thought...RJ in Montana..

I have bottom bouncers with no arm up to 8 oz if that helps any. a lot of guys use them for pole lining.

PJ does make a nice bouncer at what I thought was a reasonable price, this would be an even better option if the needed weights are available than the hassle of getting set up to make your own. I've been using his 4 & 6 oz. bouncers and they're holding up well. RJ in Montana..

Cabelas has them for a good price and the shipping is not too bad either.
