Can anyone inform me what the waves were like today(10/01/05) out to the Sandbar. We plan on making the 110 mile trip tomorrow but the last time we went they were predicting 2 footers and we got slammed. The bouy says .7 at 2:30 today but it's been blowing pretty good here(west of Toledo) all day. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have found when the buoy says X (when it under 3 ft or so) it is usally about doble that and over 3 ft it is usually 1.5 times that.
So 2 ft on the buoy is about 4 ft max 4 ft is about 6 ft.
